2014 BTTC Recommendations

Brazil, Rússia, índia, China and South África (BRICS) have come together as sovereign independent
nations, and with common purpose, to forge a long-term strategy for multilateral and mutual
cooperation amongst one another. To this end, BRICS member States pledge to work together in the
quest for:
I. Promoting cooperation for economic growth and development;
II. Peace and security;
III. Social justice, sustainable development, and quality of life;
IV. Political and economic govemance; and
V. Progress through knowledge and innovation sharing.
